Nate graduated from WCU in 2013 with a major in Computer Information Systems. Nate crossed in spring of 2010 with the Beta Epsilon pledge class. His pledge class was the largest to cross in the reestablished colony. His journey started when a group of guys invited him to UVA for Conclave and he had a great experience. After his experience, he had to convince his parents to let him join a fraternity. They required the Rex at the time (Sean Webster) to call them and talk to them before they would let him join. Nate supposes he said the right things because the rest is history. He became Rex in 2010 and held the position for 2 years until 2012. During his time as Rex the chapter was consistently in good financial standing, and also became a Nationally Recognized and Chartered Chapter in 2013. They always had brothers attending conclaves and had at least 2 brothers going to the National convention each year (fully paid). Nate then joined Greek Council at WCU for a term, and supported all Greek chapters as they set growth and expectation goals.
Nate is currently the Senior Manager of Financial Systems at Direct Chassis Link, where his job is to manage and implement Oracle Fusion Cloud financial suite, and streamline business financial processes. Nate and his wife met at WCU in 2011, and she played a huge role in the success of the chapter (behind the scenes). They were married in August of 2014, and now have two boys, Grayson and Graham.
